The collections „Dieter Funk“ and „Sashee Schuster“ are made by hand in FUNKeyewear’s manufactory in Kinsau, Bavaria, Germany.
The two designers are creative visionaries and passionate frame-makers. Dieter Funk and Sashee Schuster unite the vibrant energy of a start-up with 30 years of experience in the optical sector. Their highest priorities are independence, design, quality, sustainability and transparency: living honest craftsmanship and producing long-living pieces of art, style and vision – handmade in Bavaria.

Dieter Funk’s spectacle frames are true objects of style. Be it “classic”, be it “statement”, with their expressive design they unite craftsmanship with premium quality and sustainable demands. The material for his glasses is acetate – also available in FUNK’s very own recycled version, or in an extremely limited vintage edition – often in combination with titanium or stainless steel.

Sashee Schuster’s glasses really are pieces of art, made of acetate and natural materials. The designer catches and preserves the beauty of nature by laminating flowers, spices, feathers etc. into acetate. She plays with the shapes and colours of nature and ingeniously hand-crafts them into the most unique spectacle frames.
